Capacity Building on Psychology - My Book Review Presentation on Verukal  - October 7, 2025 On October 7, I had the opportunity to participate in a Capacity Building session on Psychology, and it turned out to be one of the most enriching academic experiences for me. The programme was designed to strengthen our understanding of psychological concepts and to improve our confidence in presenting them effectively. As part of the session, each of us had to present a topic related to psychology. I chose to present a book review of Verukal by Malayattoor Ramkrishna — a novel that deeply moved me and offered plenty of psychological insights. The novel beautifully portrays internal conflicts, making it easy to apply psychological theories to the characters and their behaviour. I was slightly nervous in the beginning, but once I started speaking, I really enjoyed presenting. I received positive feedback from my teachers and classmates, which boosted my confidence and made the ef...
