As part of the Anti-Ragging Week celebrations held on 22nd August 2025, various departments of our college organized a number of creative and thought-provoking programs to spread awareness about the importance of maintaining a safe and friendly campus environment.
Our department conducted a Poster Making Competition, where students expressed their ideas against ragging through colorful and meaningful posters. The event reflected students’ creativity and their strong message of unity, respect, and kindness.
The Mathematics department conducted a Slogan Writing Competition, where students created catchy and inspiring slogans to promote anti-ragging awareness in a simple yet powerful way.
The English department held a Panel Discussion, giving students a platform to share their views, experiences, and suggestions on how to maintain a ragging-free campus.
The Social Science department organized an Essay Writing Competition, encouraging students to pen down their thoughts on the ill effects of ragging and the need to promote harmony and understanding among peers.
The Natural Science department arranged a Quiz Competition, which tested students’ knowledge about anti-ragging laws, human rights, and moral values related to student conduct.
Overall, the Anti-Ragging Week celebration was a great success. It helped students understand the importance of mutual respect, empathy, and cooperation. The programs served as a reminder that every student has the right to study in a safe and supportive environment. 💫
